August Mani of the Month Box

Hey everyone,

Today, I will be sharing the Mani of the Month (MOTM) box which is a themed exclusive monthly (non-recurring subscription) box from collaborating indies Heather's Hues, Dream Polish, and Nails Redesigned. Each monthly box has a specific theme to which all items (polishes, scents, vinyls/decals) go along with the theme for the month. August's theme is "Sleeping Under the Stars" and it has everything you need to create the perfect summer's night mani.

This fun collaboration contains 1 full-size polish, 1 mini size glitter topper and a bag of placement glitters/confetti from Heather's Hues, a mini set of base and top coat with either a scented cuticle balm or oil from Dream Polish, and an assortment of nail vinyls/decals and Swarovski crystals from Nails Redesigned.

This month there were two special guest sponsors: Got Nail Care and Northern Star Cosmetics, who contributed a scented sample of there cuticle oil in which the box included one of the two items.

Catching Fireflies is a gorgeous Royal Purple jelly filled with blue, green, purple, pink and Glow-in-the-Dark glitters!! The glow-in-the-dark glitter brings the polish to life with what looks like tiny glowing fireflies! Opaque in 2 coats.

  

Cuddling by the Campfire is a stunning duochrome that shifts from orange/copper to pink and is filled with holo micro glitter. Combined, this polish succeeds at giving the appearance of flickering flames. Opaque in 2 coats.

Dream Polish

• Gem Glam Top Coat (5mL)
• Scented Cuticle Balm - Into The Woods

The scent of Into The Woods by Dream Polish is very different from anything Vanessa has ever done before. A friend, MichaBelle95 best described the smell like "riding a bike through the mountains". The scent brings to mind "tree bark and pine needles".

• Scented Cuticle Oil - Mountain Rain

The scent of Mountain Rain is a clean, crisp scent with a distinct grassy smell. The doe foot applicator absorbs enough oil to be able to be applied to all ten cuticles with a single application; however, I like to apply a significant amount so I do two applications. The formula is amazing! It soaks in pretty quickly and doesn't leave any greasy remnants.

Also, included in this months box was a S'mores recipe for "Bears in a Bubble Bath" and Teddy Grahams!!
